Angelica Ong plays a key role at Celito Tech, where she leverages her extensive experience to enhance quality systems for life sciences companies. Her journey began with her involvement in developing a Quality Management System (QMS), helping organizations strengthen their compliance and quality processes. Angelica’s expertise has made her a crucial member of the Celito team, where she continues to drive quality initiatives.

Before joining Celito, Angelica gained invaluable experience at leading pharmaceutical and life sciences companies, including Alza (J&J), Allergan, Impax Pharmaceuticals, and Ardelyx. At each organization, she honed her skills in various aspects of quality assurance (QA) and compliance, progressing from lab-based roles into leadership positions within QA.

Earlier in her career, Angelica worked in auditing and compliance, traveling extensively to conduct vendor audits and ensure adherence to industry standards. Her experience at companies like Allergan and Impax Pharmaceuticals solidified her skills in auditing, inspections, and QA compliance. Starting her career at Alza (J&J) as a QC Analyst, Angelica quickly progressed into QA roles that aligned with her passion for quality and continuous improvement.

A pivotal moment in Angelica’s career came when she shifted her focus to managing quality systems, transitioning away from the extensive travel that her previous roles required. This move allowed her to balance her professional life with her responsibilities as a mother, while still making a meaningful impact in the quality compliance space.

Outside of work, Angelica is a dedicated mother to her six-year-old daughter. She’s actively involved in her daughter’s school as a parent ambassador and regularly supports her extracurricular activities. Despite her busy schedule, Angelica still finds time for her love of travel, planning family trips to explore new destinations.

With her diverse background in quality control, QA compliance, and quality systems management, Angelica is a driving force behind Celito’s quality and compliance initiatives, helping to elevate industry standards and ensure continued success.
