At Celito, we take pride in recognizing the outstanding contributions of our team members who drive efficiency and excellence within our organization. This month, we shine the spotlight on Joyce Tan, our Director of Business Operations, whose operational expertise and leadership have been instrumental in optimizing our internal processes. 

Joyce began her career at Pharmacyclics (an AbbVie company) in the Legal Department, where she played a key role in contracts management and legal operations, supporting the General Counsel in organizing the contracts database, a critical effort during Pharmacyclics’ acquisition. She later transitioned to Global Development Operations, managing contracts and finance operations for clinical study teams. At AbbVie, she became a Lead Analyst in the R&D Contracting Group and optimized contracting workflows for clinical trials and compliance. 

Since joining Celito, Joyce has taken on a pivotal leadership role in overseeing Legal, HR, and other internal functions. She collaborates with cross-functional teams and external partners to align goals, drive key initiatives, and streamline business operations. Her ability to ensure seamless execution and continuous improvement has been essential in maturing operational efficiency at Celito. 

Joyce holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and an MBA from Santa Clara University. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, staying active, and expressing creativity through painting and calligraphy.
