Guillermo Sanchez, Cornerstone of
Cybersecurity Operations Excellence

Let’s recognize Guillermo, a key member of our Operations team, whose expertise and dedication have strengthened both our cybersecurity operations and team culture since he joined Celito in 2022. 

Originally from Ecuador, Guillermo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad Politécnica Salesiana (Guayaquil) and a Master’s in Cybersecurity from Universidad Internacional SEK (Quito). 

His career began as a Technical Support Engineer at Palosanto Solutions, where he specialized in Linux and open-source tools. He later transitioned into network engineering at a telecom company, before making a pivotal shift into cybersecurity at MAINT in 2015. With years of hands-on experience, he joined Celito as an Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Engineer and quickly became a key contributor, earning a promotion to Senior Engineer. Today, Guillermo continues to lead process improvements and drive innovation in cybersecurity operations. 

Guillermo is a devoted family man, balancing his professional success with life at home alongside his wife and three children. He enjoys traveling with his family, tackling DIY home improvement projects, and collecting souvenirs—his favorites include fridge magnets, mugs, banknotes, and coins from his adventures.  

Guillermo’s enthusiasm, curiosity, and willingness to share knowledge make him an invaluable part of Celito. His impact extends beyond security operations, fostering collaboration and strengthening our team. We’re grateful to have him on board!
